
Rev. Reginald “Keith” Rountree was born in Fort Valley, Georgia, and later moved to Perry, Georgia, where he graduated from Perry High School. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 17 while attending New Hope Baptist Church.
Rev. Rountree went on to study at Tuskegee University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. After graduating in 1989, he began his career with the United States Department of Agriculture, retiring after 33 years.
In 1993, he married his beloved wife, Rev. Nadine Rountree, and together they have been blessed with three children and four grandchildren.
Rev. Rountree was ordained as a deacon at New Mercy Baptist Church in Griffin, Georgia, in 2012. He answered his call to the Gospel ministry in 2015, was ordained in 2018, and was appointed Assistant Pastor of New Mercy Baptist Church in 2021. He completed his Master of Pastoral Arts at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2024.
Since January 2025, Rev. Rountree has faithfully served as Senior Pastor of New Mercy Baptist Church. A devoted student of God’s Word, he is committed to making disciples and sharing the hope of Christ wherever he goes.
